Post-fracture assessment using on-site digital X-ray to identify fractures and assess future fracture risk. Monthly mobile DXA units, provided by the Health Bureau, offer free bone mineral density testing in local villages. Pharmacological interventions adhere to Taiwan’s National Health Insurance (NHI) reimbursement criteria, ensuring effective fracture risk reduction. Lifestyle advice includes promoting Nordic walking with locally sourced bamboo poles and collaborating with the Health Bureau on resistance training classes. Patients requiring further evaluation, advanced imaging, or specialized treatment are referred to Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital. These integrated services enhance community awareness, reduce osteoporosis-related fractures, and improve overall bone health outcomes.
