Starting from April 2023, during mobile medical screening, we will use artificial intelligence and dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) combined with smart technology to provide osteoporosis screening services in communities and villages. We have served about 400 people. Abnormal cases will also be referred to the hospital for further treatment.
For these people with osteoporosis or sarcopenia, an osteoporosis and sarcopenia exercise class will be opened in 2024, providing large muscle strength training, independent exercise practice, and protein drinks after exercise to increase protein intake for a period of 12 weeks. , people who participated in the training courses showed significant improvement in muscle strength.
The institute will continue to cooperate with the policies of the Department of Health to open osteoporosis and sarcopenia exercise classes so that more people can benefit.
