5th AZAR Hospital

In 2019, the Golestan  Fracture Laison Services (FLS)  was started at the main tertiary care teaching hospital of the Golestan province in which,  more than six hundred thousands of residents receive health care services.

The Golestan FLS site is a part of the national FLS program, that is supported by MOH and the National Institute for Medical  Research Development (NIMAD).

It has been coordinated  by the he   Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute ( EMRI ) and  Golestan Rheumatology Research Center .

Our first mission as one of the first FLS in Iran is  to assessing Feasibility and effectiveness of implementation of FLS on prevention of secondary fracture  in osteoporotic patients and optimal development of this program in Golestan province.

We believe that Golestan FLS will be one of the best services because it is built  based on a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.
