Loewenstein Hospital, a part of the Clalit Group Healthcare Services, is the largest and the leading Israeli hospital in the field of rehabilitation medicine. The Fracture Liaison Service of the Loewenstein Hospital Rehabilitation Center was founded in 2017 by Dr. Amir Haim, and is directed by Dr. Michael Bahar and managed by Miss Garam Kasem RN .

The fracture liaison service manages all inpatients with fragility fractures. A clinical protocol was established, which aims to identify osteoporotic patients have a complete workup and begin pharmacological treatment during the patients recovery period. They keep in touch with the patients and with their health provider to ensure continuity of care.  Thanks to these efforts, over 85% of patients with fragility fracture are being discharged with an active osteoporosis pharmacological treatment, preventing the secondary fracture and overcoming the care gap.
