Tan Tock Seng Hospital is a 1700 bed acute care tertiary hospital with a level 1 trauma care unit. We manage 20% (about 600) of all geriatric hip fractures yearly amongst 8 acute care hospitals, and about 600-1000 new non-hip fragility fractures yearly. We have a dedicated orthopaedic fracture liaison service led by orthopaedic trauma with a dedicated specialty nurse clinician covering major osteoporotic fractures - hip, lower limb, upper limb (including wrist), vertebral.
