Quirino Memorial Medical Center

The Quirino Memorial Medical Center is a Tertiary Hospital located in Quezon City, one of the most densely populated areas of Metro Manila. It has been designated by the Department of Health as a regional referral centre for Orthopedics, along with other specialties, and wishes to provide a multidisciplinary approach to treating patients with fragility fractures. The Orthogeriatrics Team has been developed and includes the departments of Internal Medicine (including Geriatrics), Anesthesiology, Rehabilitation Medicine, and also coordinate our efforts with the departments of Family Medicine and the Dietary Section (which handles Nutritional concerns for our patients). We have begun promoting fragility awareness and fracture prevention through symposiums and wish to take part in the “Capture The Fracture” initiative to provide quality care to our patients and contribute in global research projects with our colleagues.
