Orthopädie Sonnenhof & OsteoRheuma Bern
The Sonnenhof Orthopaedic Clinic is a regional hospital and national reference center for the entire spectrum of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. In close cooperation with the Sonnenhof emergency unit, the Sonnenhof Orthopaedic Clinic creates a continuous treatment framework, from acutely injured persons to people with chronic-degenerative complaints. For this purpose, internationally established specialists pool their experience in a joint clinic characterised by a collegial spirit.
OsteoRheuma Bern AG is an outpatient center with five rheumatologists, treating patients with rheumatic diseases and/or osteoporosis. With two DXA devices in Bern and one in Biel/Bienne, OsteoRheuma Bern offers both osteological evaluations and manages osteoporosis treatment. OsteoRheuma Bern includes all patients who underwent a DXA scan and who provide informed consent in a national wide osteoporosis registry of the Swiss Society of Rheumatology.
