Okazaki City Hospital is a regional core hospital equipped with an emergency and critical care center and a perinatal medical center.
With the rapid aging of the population, we are also treating many fractures (proximal femoral fractures, spinal compression fractures, etc.) in the elderly. While some people are able to return to their normal lives after undergoing treatment for their fractures, there are also those who experience repeated fractures and gradually experience a decline in activities of daily living (ADLs).
Therefore, Okazaki City Hospital is actively promoting osteoporosis education and treatment by focusing on primary prevention to prevent fractures and secondary prevention to prevent repeated fractures.
