Huazhong University of Science and Technology Union Shenzhen Hospital
The Union Shenzhen Hospital of Huazhong University of Science and Technology,established in 1946 ，is one of the largest public hospitals in Shenzhen. The hospital is now undergoing renovation and expansion, with 1,982 beds, and will reach 3,500 beds in 2025. The hospital has 3,308 employees ,including 567 senior medical doctor.In 2022, the total number of outpatient is 2,277,000, inpatient admissions are 56,637, and surgeries are 31,976. The orthopaedic operating room is equipped with surgical robots, DSA and O-arm, and was the first in Guangdong Province to carry out PVP treatment for osteoporotic vertebral fractures.
