The main purpose of our FLS is to provide continuity of care and ensure secondary prevention of osteoporosis in patients over 70 years who had suffered a hip fracture. We are a multidisciplinary team formed by geriatricians, specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation and orthopedic surgeons.
We assess patients along the whole care process, from acute phase with a comprehensive geriatric assessment, fall and drugs evaluation, and after hospital discharge to gauge functional recovery and osteoporosis treatment.
