Directed by Dr. María Jesús Montesa, rheumatologist, our Fracture Liaison Service has been running since 2016. The population as of December 2022 is 525,036, comprising the metropolitan area of the island of Tenerife and the entire South and West zone. 

The Fracture Liaison Service handles all fragility fractures referred from the Emergency Department or identified by any health professional.
