Hospital das Forças Armadas

We are an Orthopedics and Traumatology Service in a tertiary and quaternary care hospital. HFA is a reference in traumatology and highly complex orthopedic surgeries for Brazilian Armed Forces hospitals. Through our Medical Emergency Room, we receive most of the fractures due to bone fragility from our users. The Orthopedics and Traumatology Service/STO at HFA is made up of specialists in several orthopedic specialties. We have a specialization in general orthopedics and post-specialization in knee surgery.

Two years ago, we started a refracture prevention clinic to capture patients with fractures or at high risk for fractures due to bone fragility. We are in continuity with FLS - Brasília Area Military Hospital (Silver Classification).

We carry out a continuing education program in osteometabolism, together with the Brazilian Association of Orthopedics and Osteometabolism (ABOOM). Our scientific events, with national scope, promote osteometabolism and good manners in post-fracture care.

We are preparing the operation of our FLS to submit for your consideration.
