Gansu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Gansu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in 1953. It serves as the First Affiliated Hospital of Gansu University of Chinese Medicine and a teaching hospital for seven higher education institutions both within and outside the province, including Gansu University of Chinese Medicine. The hospital covers a total area of 139,334 square meters (209 mu) with 2,606 beds. It currently has 2,556 employees, including 542 personnel with senior professional titles such as (associate) professors. The hospital handles a maximum annual emergency department volume of 1500,000 visits, with 75,000 discharged patients and approximately 40,000 surgeries performed.
