Dujiangyan People's  hospital has 1,600 beds in total and 100 beds in the orthopedic department. In 2024, the orthopaedic outpatient department receives more than 17,000 patient visits and 2379 patients were discharged. The number of orthopaedic surgery procedures performed  totalled 1616. Among them, there were 594 fourth-level surgeries. In 2024, a total of 201 patients with intertrochanteric fractures or subtrochanteric fractures were treated with proximal femoral nail antirotation(PFNA)  in our department.  A total of 229 patients with femoral neck fracture were treated with hip arthroplasty. And a total of 482 patients with  osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCFs) were treated with Percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP).
