Patients who have experienced hip fractures clinically are provided with primary treatment to secondary prevention, and their clinical information is being accumulated in a separate database.
Patients aged 50 and above who visit the emergency room or outpatient clinics due to hip fractures all become recipients of post-fracture liaison services (FLS) after surgery. FLS coordinators visit regularly to provide ongoing rehabilitation exercises, nutritional management, chronic disease management for fall prevention, and a service managing inquiries for the medical team.
Lead clinician conduct tests and treatments for osteoporosis, and services are interconnected in various aspects to prevent recurrent fractures. Data collection and periodic education are carried out during each outpatient visit for continuous tracking and management.
