Beijing Haidian Hospital's Orthopedic Department is a key specialty recognized for its expertise in trauma, spine, and joint conditions, offering comprehensive and advanced treatments. The department is supported by a highly experienced medical and nursing team and has grown into a robust discipline focused on trauma, spine, and joint care. With approximately 80,000 outpatient and emergency visits and 1,500 surgical inpatients annually, the department performs around 300 femoral neck and intertrochanteric fracture surgeries each year. To enhance fracture prevention and management, the department established an FLS in July 2020, integrating early diagnosis, minimally invasive treatments, and post-fracture care. The FLS also incorporates robotic-assisted surgeries and multidisciplinary collaboration to improve outcomes and reduce the risk of future fractures. Additionally, the department has set up a dedicated osteoporosis clinic, laying the foundation for long-term follow-up and management of osteoporosis patients.
