Hospital Duchess of Kent, Sandakan

Hospital Duchess of Kent is a tertiary hospital located on the east coast of Sabah with basic speciality services like internal medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, anaesthesiology, and so on.

The FLS here has been established without geriatric medicine services as it is limited in our state - and involves the following departments, orthopaedic surgery, rehabilitation medicine, anaesthesiology and internal medicine.

Through our FLS, we hope to provide a multidisciplinary, holistic approach to the care of elderly patients that suffer a fragility fracture, reducing morbidity and mortality in this group of patients.
