New French study shows FLS effectiveness

A study by Lille University Hospital’s Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) showed that running a FLS improves identification of patients with  hip fractures, long term management of fracture patients after evaluation for secondary fracture prevention, and screening for vertebral fractures using Vertebral Fracture Assessment.

Fracture Liaison Service onsite training in Montreal

Capture the Fracture® (CTF) is pleased announce that the first Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) onsite training in Canada was conducted in Montreal at Hôpital Jean-Talon. 

The FLS team at the Hôpital Jean-Talon is led by Dr. Julio Fernandes (lead clinician) and Josee Delisle (nurse coordinator) who work together to identify more than 560 fragility fracture patients per year.
