Visby Hospital
The Visby Hospital is a small hospital located on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea, off the eastern coast of Sweden. With a population of 60,000 inhabitants on Gotland, the hospital houses one DXA machine situated at the orthopedics unit. The hospital operates a Fracture Liaison Service (FLS), established a decade ago, aimed at identifying patients with fractures who are subsequently managed by a fracture coordinator for secondary prevention in primary care.
