Ohara General Hospital
Ohara General Hospital is located in the center of Fukushima City. As a regional core hospital, we accept many patients with fragility fractures, such as proximal femoral fractures, spinal fractures, and limb fractures. We have built Fukushima Osteoporosis Medical Network with 110 clinics in Fukushima City (http://www.f-ishikai.jp/examination/3943.html), and based on that, we are working to prevent primary fractures through osteoporosis screening and secondary fractures after fractures. The OLS Committee in our hospital has been working on fracture prevention since 2018. The OLS Committee includes members from various professions related to osteoporosis, including physicians, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists, physical therapists, and medical administrators.
