Dear all,

As the Head of the Day Hospital Unit at the Geriatric Hospital of Cimiez, and a recognized expert in osteoporosis (holding an interuniversity diploma in Bone Pathologies from GRIO and currently pursuing a doctoral thesis on osteoporosis), I am deeply involved in the management of osteoporosis care, including running the osteoporosis outpatient clinic and coordinating anti-osteoporotic therapy programs within our hospital.

By being part of this global effort, I hope to contribute to the further improvement of care practices within our hospital and foster a culture of prevention that extends beyond our institution. Given the importance of this issue, I would like to propose our unit’s participation in the "Capture the Fracture" initiative. Integrating "Capture the Fracture" would provide an invaluable opportunity to share knowledge, encourage medical specialists and residents to understand the critical importance of managing fragility fractures in a systematic and coordinated way, and ultimately improve outcomes for our elderly patients.
