THE FIRST PEOPLE'S HOSPITAL OF SHUANGLIU DISTRICT is a public hospital system. which was founded in 1943. It has more than 2,000 employees, 23 clinical and medical technology departments, offer over 1200 beds, handles over 5,000 surgical cases annually, and discharges over 30,000 patients each year. The FLS team in our hospital is mainly composed of orthopedics, endocrinology, rehabilitation, and radiology departments. Its main work includes identification of fragile fractures, treatment of fractures, management of osteoporosis, establishment of clinical databases, and patient education. Our work made significant contributions to FLS program in Southwest China and established a database with the characteristics of population this region.
