GRIO, a CNS IOF member society from France, hosted a conference on Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) in Paris on October 4th where IOF presented its latest CTF activities.

IOF now offers financial support to help candidates learn from FLS experts in their countries. Contact us if you are interested in spending a day with an FLS expert or, as a National Society, if you are interested in organizing a workshop on FLS implementation.

New CTF webinars about the programme, how to implement FLS and success stories will continue this year with new speakers and a new feature: they will be held in different languages!

The first one will be held in French, presented by Prof. Thierry Thomas (St Etienne hospital, France) on March 29th 2016, 11:00-12:00 CET.

To date 138 Fracture Liaison Services (FLS) are profiled on the Map of Best Practice. To pursue our goal of having all FLS register with our Best Practice Recognition programme, we need your help! Do you know of any exemplary FLS which are not yet on the map? Do you know any institutions wanting to establish an FLS? On September 17 (09:00 CET) we will present the third webinar in a 4-part series on Capture the Fracture® on how to get mapped and get best practice recognition for your Fracture Liaison Service (FLS). This webinar will be presented by Dr Kassim Javaid, Co-chair of the Capture the Fracture® Steering Committee and the IOF Fracture Working Group, who has extensive expertise on how to implement an FLS in a health-care setting.
